We are an emergency ambulance service that provides coverage to three townships in Scioto County, Ohio. Squad 3 has been responding to emergencies since 1976! Our services are 911 only and always have been. On duty crews respond to all calls with professionalism and empathy.
Our service is proud to provide efficient and thorough pre-hospital care for everyone that we serve. Our daily care revolves around evidence based medicine and consistent training. We are proud to carry cutting edge equipment that our crews check daily.
Minford Emergency Ambulance Service, Inc is a private not-for-profit organization that is governed by an executive board. Our primary crew provides coverage 24/7/365 and our secondary crews respond within the hours of Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Our current ambulance fleet consists of three well-maintained trucks that respond to an average of 1300 calls per year. The daily operations at Minford Squad 3, is under the direction of our squad chief, Mike Harkless.
Minford Squad 3 started as a volunteer-only service in 1976. Every call responded to 24/7/365 was attended to by non-compensated individuals responding during nighttime, holidays and all adverse weather!

where do we cover?
Minford Squad 3 covers Harrison Township, Jefferson Township, and Madison Township of Scioto County. Located 2 hours directly south of Columbus, Ohio. We cover approximately 111 sq. miles of land and close to 11,000 citizens per census data.
